Once you have attended a 5 day stay at the Soul Shack, a support worker or therapy assistant may have availability to continue to provide support to you, within your home or community.
This is a great way of continuing to receive support and build your skills, from a person whom you connected well with during your stay at The Soul Shack.
Support is purposeful and aims to assist you to work towards your NDIS goals. For example:
An experienced Occupational Therapist is available to assist in development of specific supports and strategies, and provide supervision and guidance to the support worker or allied health assistant that is working with you.
There is always opportunity for us all to build capacity within our daily life, and therefore either ‘Core’ or ‘Capacity Building’ sections of an NDIS plan can be used to fund supports within your home and community.
